keelearning is operated on German servers, is fully GDPR-compliant, and offers numerous data protection features for admins and users.

All trainings and certificates are stored centrally and can be exported at any time. This makes you audit-proof and lets you meet documentation obligations.

Without structured training and records, required standards can become a risk, especially in certified supply chains (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 27001, etc.). If you want certifiable training with which your company can prove that customers or partners were properly trained, and you want to create transparency towards auditors as well as standardization of knowledge, keelearning is an excellent solution. The learning management system (LMS) enables: Integration of certificates and final tests – customers receive an official document after course completion; Management of certificate validity periods and reminders upon expiry (recertification); Audit security – training data is centrally documented and can be retrieved for records at any time; The assignment of customer groups, roles, or partner levels (e.g. "Certified Integration Partner").

Yes, encryption "at rest" in line with the current state of the art is used on all databases employed by keelearning, so that the data in the database can only be read after proper authentication on the respective database system.

The availability of the application is 99% on annual average, including maintenance work. This availability is guaranteed by redundant servers, an uninterruptible power supply, and backups.

Access is via personalized user accounts that are uniquely assigned to one person. Login is performed with a username and a password, which must be changed at the initial login in accordance with the secure password policy implemented in the application.

On the keelearning side, only employees in technology, the support team, or the customer success team have access on a case-by-case basis. This is necessary in order to support you with service queries.

If the customer decides to terminate the contractual relationship with keelearning, all data can be downloaded by the customer. The data, including backups, is then irretrievably deleted after the contractually defined period has expired.

Your data is secured in multiple ways with us: automated backups are created daily in encrypted form, without you having to take any action yourself. In addition, redundant servers and an uninterruptible power supply ensure that your data is available at all times and protected against loss.

For hosting the e-learning software, we rely on the services of Microsoft Azure in Frankfurt. The data centers used are ISO/IEC 27001 certified and therefore meet our high requirements for the physical security of our customers' data.

All keelearning employees are bound to confidentiality and to data protection in general. In addition, regular training and awareness measures on handling personal data and data protection are carried out.
