xAPI – the modern successor standard to SCORM

xAPI (Experience API), also known as Tin Can API, is the technological successor to SCORM and offers significantly greater flexibility. Unlike SCORM, which is primarily limited to browser-based learning, xAPI enables the capture of a wide variety of learning activities – regardless of where and how they take place. These include, for example:
