xAPI – the modern successor to SCORM

xAPI (Experience API), also known as the Tin Can API, is the technological successor to SCORM and offers significantly greater flexibility. Unlike SCORM, which is primarily limited to browser-based learning, xAPI allows for the tracking of a wide variety of learning activities—regardless of where or how they take place. These include, for example:
