Successfully introducing e-learning software - Best Practice Jochen Schweizer

Norma Demuro

E-Learning Expert, CEO @ keelearning

description

Many companies today use e-learning software for the professional development of their employees. Finding the right one is often a long and arduous journey. It is often no less difficult to convince learners – the employees – of the new software. This is usually not due to the learning platform itself, but rather the fact that older employees, in particular, need to be introduced to new programs in a targeted manner. Here, new often means rejection at first – especially when it takes place in the field of digitalization. But even with younger learners, it is important to spark enthusiasm for the new e-learning software sooner rather than later. We show a practical example in which everything was done right when it came to introducing e-learning.

How Jochen Schweizer introduces its learning platform

The experience voucher provider Jochen Schweizer not only sells experiences, but also lives this concept internally. This is proven by the way in which the new e-learning software "keelearning" was introduced to the employees. Instead of a formal email, each participating branch received an entertaining puzzle, at the end of which was the code to log into the e-learning software.

A package full of surprises

The puzzle came in the form of a package. Inside: A Jochen Schweizer product catalog, a flashlight, a cryptex roll, and an envelope.

The goal: Find access to the e-learning software.

The task: Answer several questions such as "Which sightseeing flight offers the biggest thrill". The answers can be found in the product catalog and can be made visible with the help of the blue-light flashlight. Similar to a crossword puzzle, individual letters of the solution word serve as part of an overall solution word. The overall solution word, in turn, is the key to a so-called "cryptex" roll, which in turn contains access to the learning app.

E-learning introduction by the book

With this puzzle, Jochen Schweizer introduced employees to the new learning platform with flying colors. It generated attention and aroused curiosity. The best prerequisites for a successful e-learning start. The user numbers prove this right.

We would like to thank Jochen Schweizer for allowing us to share this experience!
